Garrett Votes To Cut Food Stamps By $2 Billion
Scott Garrett (R-Bergen) voted on Wednesday to cut food stamps by $2 billion a year as part of a wide-ranging farm bill.
Several House Republicans have signaled the farm bill's food stamp cuts aren't deep enough. House Democrats, meanwhile, have been protesting the cuts by going on one-week food stamp diets.

Scott Garrett (R-NJ) along with the rest of New Jersey’s congressional delegation is set to vote today on a bill that would outlaw abortion after 20 weeks. The bill H.R. 1797, co-sponsored by Garrett and titled
The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act
would amend the federal criminal code to prohibit any person from performing or attempting to perform an abortion if the probable post-fertilization age of the unborn child is 20 weeks or greater.

Bergen County Burglary Task Force Investigation Results In Two Arrests In Tenafly
Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli announced today the arrests of SHAKIR MAJOR, age 25 and DIANDRE MIKELL, age 26, both of Teaneck, New Jersey. The arrests are the result of a several week long investigation comprised of detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and a task force comprised of local municipal police departments.
